Who Are We
GeoEXPLO is a heavily customer oriented geological firm that gives it clients the benefit of getting personalized quality service that is beyond comparison in West Africa. From our head office in Yamoussoukro (Cote d’Ivoire) and our technical office in Accra (Ghana), we operate all over Africa providing all types of exploration and mining services to both small- and large-scale exploration and mining companies.
Our Mission
GeoEXPLO programs always follow a phased, results-driven approach with target ranking and risk assessment taking place at every stage. This provides regular milestones and key decision points, such that the program has the greatest chance of identifying new mineral deposits and best exploitation plan while remaining in budget.

Our Team
John Asafo-Akowuah
(Senior Consultant – Geology and Exploration)
John is a Mineral Exploration and Economic Geologist with over 14 years of experience in mineral
project development, due diligence, mineral project evaluation, project finance, abandoned mine land
characterization and remediation. He has significant operational experience in Africa, and abandoned
mine land characterization and reclamation experience from U.S.A
Innocent Denoo
(Senior Consultant – Geology and Exploration)
Innocent is an exploration geologist with 15 years’ experience in exploration and development of mineral deposits in West Africa. Innocent was a senior exploration geologist – West Africa for RSG Global/Coffey Mining and has been involved with projects from grassroots exploration to the
resource definition stages.
William Zutah
(Senior Resource Geologist and Database Manager)
Geologist with more than 14 years of experience in resource estimation and evaluation of mineral deposits, resource and ore control block modeling, QAQC analysis, 3D structural and geological modeling. Experienced in technical report writing, database management, project supervision, structural interpretation, ore mining and mill production, and drilling project management. Executes strategic thinking and communicates across departments, providing in-depth geological knowledge and utilizing tools and resources for analyzing data, interpreting, and
accurate documentation of findings.
Francis Sampong
(Senior Mine Planning and Survey Consultant)
Francis is a mining engineer with over 15 years of experience in the extractive metals industry.
Covering both exploration and mining operations. His experience includes about 5years in exploration
and the 10 years in mining operations in the technical capacity. This experience spans across 5
countries in Africa. Francis has worked with several reputable companies in different countries
including Ghana, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, and Zambia and in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Notable among them are Coffey Mining, Middle Island Resources, African Minerals and First Quantum
Minerals Limited. He was involved with the startup of FQM Kalumbila Copper mine in Zambia
Louis Ackah
(Mineral Process /Metallurgical Engineering Consultant)
Has accumulated over 11 years of valuable experience in Civil Engineering design and construction control; advanced research in Mineral Processing; and Remediation of mining. Impacted Ecosystems. As a researcher, Louis was directly involved as lead or support for over 9 funded projects (>1.5 million dollars total) for various State and Federal agencies in the U.S. The projects involved coal processing flowsheet development and simulation, extractive metallurgy of rare earths from secondary sources, Coal plant optimization and Spiral automation, Sustainable Utilization of Coal Combustion by-products, remediation of mining impacted drainage and polluted soils, water quality assessment, water/wastewater treatment, wetland design, Evaluation and optimization of mineral processing equipment and emerging technologies
